Unfortunately this is NOT exactly the case.


The 2020/2021 NCAA modified qualifying rules say you "MAY not need to wrestle in your conference tournament ONLY if you are required to sit out conference tournament due to COVID protocols" in this case a wrestler that has 4 matches can still get an at large bid. If you sit out for any other reason, I do not think you can go to NCAAT.
